No, I was just going to say her message is a beautiful. It's so positive and joyous. Her interpretation of my moment all these years ago, she's embracing the concept that I am doing it for others. So I was obviously representing myself, but representing my family and my community and Kuku Yalanji and Birri Gubba people of whom I belong to, but also for young women, for athletes, for First Nations people.
You know, folks often touch on the theme of reconciliation, especially on Australian soil. It was in Sydney. Once I sat down and, you know, kind of took stock of what was happening in the stadium that night and the reactions from everyone, I absolutely felt that it was a significant time of significant time of unity. The generosity of people's hearts was palpable, the way in which they were happy for me and the people I was representing, because they embraced me and they embraced my story, which I thought was lovely. That power of unity was incredible.
Yeah, I kind of feel that she's capturing a really beautiful sentiment, especially from the Indigenous community of Australia, and particularly from the community of where she's from. It's powerful celebration of First Nations achievement. You can see the words "love". I love that's one of my favourite parts. Beautiful. Just beautiful. I think the world needs love, a lot of love. We have to remember what it is. what it is and the actions of love, what love looks like, how it plays out in the world. Yeah, it's joyful. It makes me smile.
There's a lot of images in there like honey ants and the boomerang and, you know, the kangaroos with earrings. It's really quite joyous. She's even got superhero figures up there as well. I think that's fabulous. It's fabulous. That's a genius of Kaylene Whiskey and her imagination, the magic of her imagination. You can feel that she's completely free and unafraid of being true to who she is.
I feel quite honoured. It's probably more meaningful to me because she's a traditional woman. You know, she's a woman of culture and ancient culture, the world's oldest living culture, one of which I'm obviously very proud to be a part of as well. So somehow, in some way, I've become part of her life. Yeah. It's an honour, absolute honour.
