Raphael and his children, 2013

Life in the studio with Raphael and the kids is full of make believe and games but real life is not. Raph works considerably hard to maintain a positive up-bringing for his children. Nature, light and art bring life into this photograph. Raph stares toward us; the beacon father standing tall and honest. His children search beyond the dimensions of this photo frame to show the child as dreamer. This composition is reminiscent of the Renaissance akin to the painter and his name sake Raphael.
