Every year the Lord Mayor's Commendations acknowledge long term small businesses in Melbourne. 88-year-old motorcycle spareparts shop owner Jean Beanham was the recipient this year of a platinum award which acknowledges 50-plus years in business. From the carburettors, sprockets to the brakes this lady knows her spare parts.
