I met Bodie within five minutes of parking my car and walking into the Perth Cultural Centre precinct. A marketing student at university, he was on his way to photograph a festival in the heart of Perth, celebrating West Australian independent music. Made with natural light and a portable background, this portrait forms part of a larger body of work titled Portraits from the pavement.
