The Christening, 2014

Women are challenged by their shifting identity when they become a mother. Some never feel an emotional bond with their newborn child while others struggle with balancing their role as mother, wife, working woman and their own self. This image was taken in the lead up to the child’s christening as he prepares to start the journey of creating his own identity.
