National Photographic Portrait Prize 2012 Finalist
At the age of 20, Shane felt an inner urge to release the creative fire inside him and, as a result, his alter-ego Sasha Trajik-Mole was born. Sasha's personality is somewhat of a polar opposite to Shane's. She is a vociferous, over the top, in your face individual who will push the boundaries of public acceptance. With a hard hitting image that you could say is a meld of 80's pop stars like Boy George and Pete Burns, Sasha is always the crowd pleaser and was recently awarded the 2011 Queen's Ball Entertainer of the Year.
The National Photographic Portrait Prize exhibition is selected from a national field of entries that reflect the distinctive vision of Australia's aspiring and professional portrait photographers and the unique nature of their subjects.
