National Photographic Portrait Prize 2016 Finalist
Cliff “Cliffy” Gawukdhun Dhamarrandji is a five-year-old Yolngu boy living in Galiwinku on Elcho Island. One of his favourite activities is hunting latjin (mangrove worms) in the dense mangrove areas that fringe parts of the island.
The National Photographic Portrait Prize exhibition is selected from a national field of entries, reflecting the distinctive vision of Australia's aspiring and professional portrait photographers and the unique nature of their subjects.
