Robin Eley studied Fine Arts at Westmont College, USA and began his career as a professional illustrator. Eley was a finalist in the Eutick Memorial Still Life Prize in 2010 and his work was Highly Commended in the Doug Moran Portrait Prize in 2010 and 2011. Robin Eley had his first solo exhibition ‘Singularity’ in 2012 and was also a finalist in the Archibald Prize that year. Eley relocated from Adelaide to the USA in 2014 and his work has appeared most recently in a group exhibitions at Koi No yokan, 101/exhibit, Los Angeles, BMG first Look, Bernarducci Meisel Gallery, New York NY and at the Westmont Ridley-Tree Museum of Art in Santa Barbara.
