A dynamic panel discussion interrogating some of the themes revealed in Living Memory.

Sandra Bruce, Director Collection and Exhibitions leads the conversation and introduces the Prize in its current iteration and its driving principles in this extraordinary year to support artists.

Mike Bowers, former finalist and Guardian photojournalist will speak about his personal experiences involved in reporting the fires and other significant moments of 2020 and provide insight into communities he visited.

Christine Morgan, CEO of the National Mental Health Commission and National Suicide Prevention Adviser to Prime Minister Scott Morrison, former CEO of Butterfly Foundation, will discuss the effects, both short and long term, on individuals and groups, of the events of the past year.
