Creative activities at the National Portrait Gallery

Drop in any time - free

Drop into the Gallery any time for free creative activities inspired by artist Thom Roberts and his exhibition, The Immersive World of Thom Roberts.

Step into our making space just outside the exhibition and create your own visual response to Thom’s series of works, Fan of Feeling Portriffs. Each of Thom’s paintings from this series illustrate a different emotion. Use colour, shape and line to draw a face that shows how you are feeling, and add it to our collaborative display.

All materials provided; for all ages and abilities.

This program is made possible through the generosity of Tim Fairfax AC.
