Self portrait

Dr George Fordyce Story (1800-1885) was an English-born doctor who became district assistant surgeon in Van Diemen's Land. He was a keen naturalist and photographer. This is thought to be one of the earliest photographic self-portraits taken in Australia, if not the earliest.
