National Photographic Portrait Prize 2020 Finalist

Martin Manca is a Melbourne-based freelance artist and set decorator. Since graduating from the Victorian College of the Arts, he has found success in art departments in the film and television industry. Nominating David Lynch as an inspiration for his ability to bring art and film together, Martin notes: ‘In the art department we make pictures with objects and tell stories with those pictures. What I love most is that we are able to make anything possible, whilst collaborating with teams of talented people.’
