National Photographic Portrait Prize 2016 Finalist
Fox Place investigates the idea of the 21st century family and how 'family' naturally forms in the share house environment. In the backyard of a Canberra share house, this group has been brought together by the basic necessity to live. Harry, Kaitlin, Maddie and Joel have created a space that is more than just a means to survive; they have turned this house into a home. Through their time living together, this group of friends has become family.
The National Photographic Portrait Prize exhibition is selected from a national field of entries, reflecting the distinctive vision of Australia's aspiring and professional portrait photographers and the unique nature of their subjects.
