My Brilliant Mother by Joyce (8-11 years, VIC)

Drawing, Chalk pastels
My Brilliant Mother
Batzaya is my wonderful mother, who has been by my side since I came into this world. My mother is very hardworking, determined and strict, but that is what makes her a good person. She is a strong leader and is brilliant at everything. Also, she is naturally a quick learner. She is a full time worker as a childcare educator and helps young children. My mum hasn’t won any awards, but if I had the chance to, I would give her the ‘Australian of the year’. She cares about her family and helps them. Overall, she is amazing.
