My Awesome Australian: Online exhibition

Dad by Gemma (12-15 years, VIC)

Painting
Dad
I chose to paint a portrait of my dad because through our tennis matches, morning drives to school, and his captivating stories from his youth -like waking up at dawn to deliver newspapers. He's taught me the value of of cherishing moments with loved ones and creating everlasting memories. If I were to give him an award today I would give him the 'Master Storyteller Award' because of his ability to teach me important lessons in each story he shares and-despite sometimes repeating himself many times- mostly keeping them interesting and entertaining.
