My Awesome Australian: Online exhibition

Uncle Hilton by Ernie (8-11 years, NSW)

Uncle Hilton
Uncle Hilton is an Elder at the school I go to. He teaches us Dharawal Language and he is really, really nice. He teaches us a lot about Aboriginal culture. He also works in the office and helps kids if they are late or sick. He can take his teeth out and makes everyone scream and laugh. His brothers are country musicians and he invited them to play for us for NAIDOC week assembly. If I could give him an award it would be the ‘Helping Hand Award’ because he helps all us kids so much.
