Portrait of Danny-Master Storyteller by Atticus (16-18 years, QLD)

Drawing
Portrait of Danny-Master Storyteller
'Master Storyteller' is the award I would give Daniel; a family friend who has lived an interesting and diverse life. He served as an engineer in the Royal Australian Navy and then spent a decade behind the wheel of a semi-trailer hauling show rides. Danny has a lifetime of fascinating stories and he is a master storyteller. When he shares one of his stories the room goes quiet, and everyone listens because he has a calm presence that settles the room. I have tried to capture the stillness Danny has when he talks about his life.
