My great Australian is Nicolas, who immigrated all the way from Brazil to Australia when he was just six years old. We met in primary school and became childhood friends. Over the years Nicolas has always been there for me and has been a great friend. Nicolas is an extremely talented artist. He has contributed to the Australian community by making a finalist placement in the young Archibald Art prize and also in Jiu Jitsu receiving countless gold medals. I wanted to honour him with this painting. I would give him the Archibold Art Prize for his future work.
