My Awesome Australian: Online exhibition

My mum by Olivia (8-11 years, VIC)

Painting, Color pen
My mum
My Mum This is a portrait of my mum. She is the most important person to me and to our family. Mum takes care of everyone every day. She cooks for us, helps me when I have homework, and makes sure our home feels safe and happy. Mum is important because she always puts the family first. She works hard, but she also has time to listen to me when I am sad or when I want to share something exciting. She teaches me to be kind and to never give up. Without my mum, our family would not be the same
