Living Memory Finalist
A self-portrait at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney while I was receiving chemotherapy for my lymphoma (lymphatic cancer). On this day I was readmitted to hospital because the medications I was using as an outpatient made me very sick, and the doctors decided to bring me back for observation. This waiting room with a photomural did help me feel a little better; it was different to most of the other clinical rooms I had resided in.
