Darling Portrait Prize 2020 Finalist
Tommy Little is an Australian comedian, writer, actor, and television/radio presenter. As well as starring in his own local and international comedy shows, Tommy currently co-hosts The Project on Network 10 and radio show Carrie & Tommy (with Carrie Bickmore) on the Hit Network. Tommy approaches his work and life with an honesty and candour that creates a real sense of relatability. This affable attitude is what I wanted to capture with this piece, as he relaxes casually against the wall.
The Darling Prize is a new biennial prize for Australian portrait painters, painting Australian sitters. The winner receives a cash prize of $75,000.
