Private John Grelck of Northbridge, NSW, holding all that is left of an old car tyre after the Viet Cong had made a Ho Chi Minh sandal from it. It was found when 7th Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (7RAR), searched a Viet Cong jungle village during Operation Santa Fe. The village was later destroyed.
