This image is taken from ‘Associates’, an ongoing series of analogue black and white portraits documenting members of the Australian queer community. Friends and acquaintances are pictured in simple and intimate terms within their own spaces. The queer nature of the series is not an abstract concern, but rather an exercise in visibility formed through private collaboration.
