First line in the water, 2014

Fifteen years into retirement and Harry is still always up before sunrise. This routine is something that I, his grandson, have failed to acquire. On this particular morning, my eyes stinging from tiredness, we hitched the boat trailer at 5am. An hour later, the tinny was launched onto the calm of Lake Hume, 30 minutes before the sun breached the horizon, with no other souls in sight.
