Adrian and Caren Lockhart at home in Balmain, Sydney. I have used a large format obscura (pinhole) camera as a means of formalising the relationship between the artist and his muse, who is also his wife. The process involves clarity and stillness: clarity in showing to the camera who they are, and stillness so that I can record this. It is their photograph as much as mine.
