Molonglo River, 2009

Molonglo River was taken on the banks of the Molonglo River close to the entrance of Lake Burley Griffin in Canberra. These surroundings are significant not only because I grew up wandering around this environment, but also because my mother passed away at the hospice near the river. Although I do not live in Canberra anymore I still find myself compelled to be near there and it is a reminder of my own mortality.
