The faces portrayed in my works are expressionless in order to convey a state of deep thought. The main concept I explore in my artwork relates to my schooling and the amount of work I am faced with. This artwork is an escape or safe haven from the excess stress that weighs me down. It is easy to become derailed from the schedules of school, work, homework and study. My artwork expresses that if I could be released from these schedules, I’d have more time for me.
