Bloodlines is a reflection of my life as I travel through the city from home to school and to work. I stitched the tickets together to look like the train lines that run through the city. To me the train lines represent the ‘bloodlines’ of the city transporting inhabitants through its veins. As a self portrait, Bloodlines is the residue of my journeys and articulates the connections I make between the different elements of my life.
