I chose to express the significance of our childhood experiences on the development of self image and identity. Prominent figures in a child’s life such as the mother and father are depicted alongside images of a child. These images are layered over a representation of a child’s face to signify the strong yet complex connections developed between family members. I presented this as an artist’s book to represent the narrative which unfolds throughout one’s life.
