In my self portrait I have explored the theme
of connection by representing my face on links of paper chain. My appearance is fragmented, contributing to the ambiguous and mysterious atmosphere. My portrait also has the qualities of a puzzle. The viewer has to decipher what the image is representing. It may take a second look to do so.
