Year 11, Marist College ACT
graphite
39.5 x 38.0 cm
on display at the National Portrait Gallery
My identity is the product of my experiences and the connections that I make. In this self portrait I have depicted myself in a Hong Kong marketplace which my family and I visited this year. The connections that I made during this trip with strangers, family and friends greatly changed my outlook on many aspects of my life.
Headspace 9
Headspace 9 is an exhibition of outstanding student self portraits (paintings, drawings, printmaking, photography and media arts) by Year 10, 11 and 12 school students that will engage a national audience.
