I named my self portrait Blinded by hate in reference to how youth of today are faced with a plethora of social, political and technological issues. I feel that what we see and hear on a daily basis dramatically impacts on how we make our decisions, and how we feel about ourselves and look towards the future. This daunting fear of dealing with everything on top of the pressure of growing up, family, friends and most notably school and career choices, has morphed our generation into one blinded by hatred against society, forcing us into this unavoidable situation.
