Year 12, St Aidan's Anglican Girls' School Qld
mixed media
I have always been fascinated with Little Red Riding Hood. I see myself as the wolf! The wolf is symbolic of my inner ferocity. This contrasts sharply to the composed self portrait on the heart shaped mirror. I aim to represent how the potential to be vicious and menacing can be hidden under the deceptive exterior of one's self. The cloak represents the way we can conceal our realities, and how things are not always what they appear – or are they?
