I was inspired by Mike Parr's continuous line self portraits. This was not just Parr's process, but also in the way Parr portrayed his emotions through his work. From this inspiration I drew a self portrait every night for two weeks using a mirror. Over this period my skills increased dramatically and I selected the last five of the second week's drawings. These explored my physical likeness and my ability to create a drawing that best resembled the subject.
