I investigated the concepts of culture and spirituality through a focus on self identity. My artwork discusses the uniqueness of an individual's history, particularly family connections and subsequent identity. The images of the subjects in the present have been blurred, yet the memories of their childhoods advance in sharp focus. This demonstrates how each individual is partly defined by their past.
