When creating my self portrait I wanted to represent not only who I am, but also the qualities I possess that are similar or different to those around me. My artwork expresses an interactive reflection of me in order to be relevant and applicable to the viewer. I wanted to create a strong relationship between the image and the audience, allowing for a more thought-provoking result.
