I challenged my digital camera's ability to capture double exposures by invading the traditional photographic space of the darkroom. This image was my response when considering the parameters of a portrait and my ongoing aesthetic and conceptual interest in the work of Bill Henson and Evan Baden. I used the light from a mobile phone to illuminate Harry, with reference to Baden's use of an artificial light source within his photographs. The viewer is left to make up their own mind about Harry when faced with this reasonably small, intimate photographic portrait.
