Creating completely original work excites me. I want to construct photographs that have never been seen before - new, weird and wonderful photographs. I constantly have ideas that fly around in my brain. They are quirky, funny, shocking and bizarre. I grab one of these ideas and bring it to life. No matter how far out, confrontational or technically difficult it may be, I will photograph it. This is my process, I work without boundaries. I plan to stay hungry and stay foolish.
The NPPP exhibition is selected from a national field of entries. The annual exhibition, now in its fourth year, reflects the distinctive vision of Australia's aspiring and professional portrait photographers and the unique nature of their subjects.
