My Mummy, 2023

I just love Mummy! I love kisses and hugs with Mummy and picking her flowers. When Mummy spins me around it’s fun and I get dizzy. My Mummy likes singing, beach volleyball, playing ukulele and dancing. My Mummy is part Australian and part Finnish, she talks in a different language with my Mummo (grandmother). Mummy was born in a country called America and came to Australia when she was a baby.

Launched at the National Portrait Gallery in 2022, the Little Darlings Youth Portrait Prize is a competition for primary and secondary students, with four separate age categories across Kindergarten to Year 12.
