Marissa.

A compassionate, strong young Pintupi Luritja woman from Kintore, Northern Territory.

After a day's work at the local health clinic, Marissa would round up girls from the community to tell their stories and practice speaking their minds in front of a camera.

Sitting opposite girls battling shame, Marissa would guide them gently and without judgement. A fierce advocate for empowering women in the community, she is determined to continue being a strong leader.
