Architect Gregory Burgess in his office, 2022

I am always inspired and intrigued by Gregory's professionalism and the atmosphere of his studio where the walls are covered by hundreds of models. Gregory and I have been friends for over 15 years. He is recognised as an architect of great distinction not just by followers of his work in Australia but throughout the world for his focus on architecture as a healing, social and ecological art. His completed buildings have received more than 40 awards during his 50 years of practice.

Darling Portrait Prize 2022

The Darling Portrait Prize is a biennial national prize for Australian portrait painting honouring the legacy of Mr L Gordon Darling AC CMG (1921-2015). The winner receives a cash prize of $75,000.
