This free program will be delivered using Zoom.

Celebrate difference and diversity by listening to a reading of The Chalk Rainbow by Deborah Kelly and Gwynneth Jones. After hearing this story about Zane who has Autism, you’ll have the chance to make a colourful creative response.

This program is for children aged 4 to 10 years with their grown up. With Auslan interpretation.

Some suggested materials to have prepared:

  • Thick white paper
  • Cotton wool balls, white tissue paper or white wadding
  • Coloured ribbons, strips of paper or fabric
  • Yarn or string
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Staples
  • Hole punch
