Sione will facilitate two sessions from 10:30am–12:30pm and 1:30–3:30pm. Can't make the session times? No worries! Kahoa (garland) making will be available as a self-directed experience until 4:30pm. Drop in any time.

This workshop is suitable for all ages and abilities. All materials provided.

Sione Tuivailala Monū (they/them) is an interdisciplinary artist of Tongan descent. Monū explores identity, family and the pasifika queer experience through photography, moving image, fashion and adornment, performance and drawing. Much of their work is inspired by nimamea’a tuikakala or the Tongan fine art of flower design.
