Join the National Portrait Gallery's Creative Engagement educators Amy and Ellie for Classroom Connections: Photographic Portraiture.

Experience the National Photographic Portrait Prize 2025 alongside fellow educators in this professional learning session. Explore the exhibition, connect with peers and reflect on the ways art and creativity can inspire you and your students.

What to expect

  • Professional learning designed for teachers and educators.
  • Practical strategies for engaging students with photographic portraiture.
  • Opportunities for networking and professional discussion.
  • An introduction to the National Portrait Gallery's online learning programs and educational resources.

This informal session is suitable for primary and secondary teachers, arts educators and cultural learning professionals. All participants will receive a certificate for 1.5 hours of professional learning. Drinks and nibbles will be provided by the Horsham Regional Art Gallery.
