Donations of all sizes play a vital role in supporting the development of the national portrait collection, exhibitions, access and learning programs, publications and digital and online resources.
The Circle of Friends Acquisition Fund is an annual appeal which supports the acquisition of a work of art. Your financial contribution will assist the Gallery to continue to enrich the national portrait collection.
The National Portrait Gallery is endorsed by the Australian Taxation Office as a Tax Deductible Recipient. All donations over $2 are tax-deductible.
All donors are formally acknowledged in the Gallery’s Annual Report, on the Honour Boards located in the Gordon Darling Hall and on the website, in publications and on the wall label when a work is displayed or wherever an image of the work is reproduced. The Gallery respects the privacy of donors who wish to remain anonymous.
