From an early age I have loved the jungle. Tropical, humid, full of weird and wonderful plants and creatures with an atmosphere of subdued light, strange noises and earthy smells. Later in life I set about trying to create my own jungle in what happened to be the iciest capital in Australia. So my special place that makes me different and a bit quirky is my greenhouse. To symbolise this I constructed a scene using the most verdant and jungle-like foliage along with giant bugs and bizarre flowers to form a surreal exaggeration of my jungle escape.
